I prefer the intelligent one
The meaning of the word friend in my mind has a specific value; I think I could use different words to describe what I am looking in a mate.
Respect to the question I can say I will choose the intelligence because is a huge matter that contains many important aspects; so the intelligent person will control the emotions, will have academic knowledge and the capacity to resolve daily situations
Although it is important to discuss that there are different types of intelligence, while someone can have emotional intelligence, other can use only the linguistic or musical intelligence, so when I refer that I prefer a clever buddy, I am trying to say that I want in a friend a person with the capacity to love, respect and understand others; in summary a man or a woman with an emotional balance
If a person is smart ,will be able to build a good friendship, knowing how to face difficult situations , then this guy or girl will have the capacity to respond in the best way, with the right words and in the correct moment.
A clever buddy will know many things about my world and my life style; my likes and dislikes, my hobbies, fears or maybe all my future dreams because is a human being without a selfish spirit, due to the fact that he or she has understood that the real value of the life is to help others without expecting something back. Also this kind of friend has a different way to see the life, since, for he or she, superficial and material things are located in a third or fourth plane because this girl or boy has found the real happiness in the richness of the soul and spirit
